The Leftovers

The Leftovers bring their unofficial collaboration and friendship to UpRaw collectors for the first time. Two artists with their own successful artistic practices are highly respected for both their talent on the streets and in more traditional studios. Both hold degrees in fine art so clearly know what they’re doing! They also know how to make artwork that people want to hang on their wall. This series exclusive to UpRaw delves into the pop culture of Bollywood posters, recontextualised with a stencil and spray can. Each image, although part of an edition of 10, is varied and has its own eccentricity – there is nothing mechanical about this process; the hand of the artists are all over these works. This edition had its genesis in a back lane of CBD Sydney and has already been received and excitedly collected in the main streets of Mumbai.
