Ralph Hobbs

After a strong exhibition program a few years ago, Ralph fell off the art exhibition radar (on the making side of things) and now he is making a comeback! A big believer in skilled drawing as the critical element to producing good art, his recent works are esoteric observations of the landscape and its inhabitants, from people to animals to birds. In truth he never stopped creating, he just wasn’t showing anyone! While Ralph has a busy program talking about art in his day job, he enjoys creating pictures that have a certain energy about them. Holding a Masters in Fine Art and Design, he is a nut about using beautiful materials so rest assured they are the best of what is available. Far from being an unknown he has been involved in a number of interesting and successful projects in the art world over the years. Now UpRaw collectors have the opportunity to take a look at the world through his slightly hazy eyes.
